दो चरणों में हो रहे कार्य के तहत मैनपुरी सेक्शन के साथ ही फर्रुखाबाद सेक्शन में भी काम में तेजी आई है। पटरियों को बदलने के साथ ही नए स्लीपर भी डाले जा रहे हैं। अब तक ट्रैक पर 25 किमी पटरियों को बदला जा चुका है, शेष करीब 80 किमी ट्रैक की पटरियों को 24 महीने में बिछाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। वरिष्ठ खंड अभियंता कार्य मैनपुरी सुनील यादव व फर्रुखाबाद टीआर मीना ने बताया कि काम को तेजी से कराने के लिए मशीनों का सहारा लिया जा रहा है।
