मां की तबीयत खराब होने से, सौरव गांगुली इस बड़ी बैठक में नहीं लेंगे हिस्सा

नई दिल्ली: भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान और बंगाल क्रिकेट संघ के अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली की मां की तबीयत खराब हो गई है। अपनी मां की बीमारी को देखते हुए सौरव गांगुली उनके साथ रहकर उनका इलाज करवाना चाहते हैं। इस वजह से सौरव गांगुली इंग्लैंड के लॉर्ड्स में होने वाली क्रिकेट की बड़ी मीटिंग का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे।

दरअसल, सौरभ गांगुली अपनी की मां निरूपा गांगुली की बीमारी की वजह से सौरव गांगुली ने 11 और 12 अगस्त को लॉर्ड्स में होने वाली मेरिलबोन क्रिकेट क्लब वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट कमेटी की बैठक में शामिल होने से मना कर दिया है। गांगुली ने इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल यानी आइसीसी और मेरिलबोन क्रिकेट क्लब यानी एमसीसी को इसकी जानकारी दे दी है।

इस मामले में पूर्व कप्तान सौरव गांगुली ने कहा है, “मेरी मां की तबयत ठीक नहीं है। हम उन्हें इलाज के लिए कहीं और लेकर जा सकते हैं। ऐसे में, मैं 11-12 अगस्त को लॉर्ड्स में होने वाली मेरिलबोन क्रिकेट क्लब (MCC) वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट कमेटी की बैठक में हिस्सा नहीं ले पाउंगा।”

खबरों की मानें तो सौरव गांगुली की मां निरूपा गांगुली की बिमारी ह्रदय से जुडी है, जिसके लिए समय-समय पर उनके टेस्ट होते रहते हैं। ऐसे में उनके साथ सौरव गांगुली का होना बनता है, क्योंकि कोई भी जिम्मेदारी मां से बड़ी नहीं हो सकती।
