मैनपुरी : अगले वर्ष नवंबर-दिसंबर में होने वाले त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव अपने तय समय पर ही होंगे। राज्य निर्वाचन विभाग ने जनवरी-फरवरी में चुनाव होने की अफवाहों पर विराम लगा दिया है। चुनाव आयोग चुनावो की तैयारी कर रहा है।
2015 में त्रिस्तरीय (क्षेत्र पंचायत, ग्राम प्रधान और जिला पंचायत सदस्य) पंचायत चुनाव हुए थे। 2020 नवंबर-दिसंबर में कार्यकाल पूरा होने जा रहा है। अगला चुनाव भी कार्यकाल पूरा होने पर ही होना हैं। कुछ दिनों से सोशल मीडिया पर खबरें चलने लगी थीं जिसमें जनवरी-फरवरी में पंचायत चुनाव होने की बातें कहीं जा रही थीं। मौजूदा प्रधान और जिला पंचायत सदस्य इसे लेकर परेशान थे। निर्वाचन विभाग ने इन अफवाहों पर विराम लगा दिया है। चुनाव आयोग के निर्देश हैं कि समय पर ही चुनाव होंगे। यह भी कयास लगाए जा रहे हैं कि पहली बार विधानसभा निर्वाचन की मतदाता सूचियों के आधार पर मतदान कराया जाएगा। मतदान में मतदाताओं को नोटा का भी विकल्प दिया जाएगा।
जिले के सभी 1731 बूथों पर एक सितंबर से विधानसभा निर्वाचन नामावलियों के पुनरीक्षण का काम होगा। बीएलओ हर घर-घर जाकर नामावली का सत्यापन करेंगे। एक माह के इस अभियान के दौरान वोटर सूची में नए नाम बढ़ाने के अलावा विलोपित और मृतकों के नाम भी हटा दिये जाएंगे।
