दुर्गा महानवमी पर साेमवार को माता के मंदिरों पर आस्था का सैलाब उमड़ा। हजारों की तादात में पहुंचे भक्तों ने मंदिरों पर माता सिद्धिदात्री का पूजन कर मनौतियां मांगी। नाचते-झूमते भक्तों ने दर्जनों की संख्या में नेजा चढ़ाकर मनौतियां मांगीं।
सोमवार को दुर्गा नवमी पर शीतला माता मंदिर पर हजारों की संख्या में भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ी। आधी रात के बाद से ही दूर-दराज के इलाकों से आने वाले भक्तों ने यहां मंदिर परिसर में डेरा डाल लिया था। तड़के से ही माता के दर्शनों के लिए भक्तों की लंबी-लंबी लाइनें लग गईं। वालिंटियर्स और पुलिस के पुख्ता इंतजामों के बीच महिला और पुरुषों को कतारबद्ध ढंग से दर्शन कराकर दूसरे द्वार से गुजारा गया।
माता के दर्शनों के लिए आने वाले भक्तों की आस्था का कोई ठिकाना न रहा। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों से आने वाली महिलाएं और बालिकाएं पेट के बल घिसटते हुए माता के दरबार तक पहुंचीं। नेजा चढ़ाने वालों की भी धूम रही। शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों से दर्जनों की संख्या में नेजा शीतला माता मंदिर पर चढ़ाए गए। नाचते-गाते भक्तों की भीड़ ने नेजा चढ़ाने से पहले माता की आराधना की। काली माता मंदिर, दुर्गा माता मंदिर, नगर कोट देवी धाम सहित दूसरे देवी मंदिरों पर भी देर शाम तक श्रद्धालुओं की पूजा का सिलसिला चलता रहा।
