शुक्रवार को जय प्रकार नरायण की जन्मतिथि पर लखनऊ में उनकी प्रतिमा पर अखिलेश यादव ने माल्यार्पण करने के बाद कहा कि उनके योगदान को कोई भुला नहीं सकता है। देश खुशहाल तभी हो सकता है जब जेपी के सिद्धांत और उनके बताए रास्ते पर चले। देश के सामने उस समय जो चुनौतियां थीं वही आज भी हैं। आज किसान को अपनी फसल की सही कीमत नहीं मिल रही है। महंगाई लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है, बाजारीकरण होता जा रहा है। आज फिर हम सब समाजवादियों को मिलकर संपूर्ण क्रांति के रास्ते पर चलना होगा।
अखिलेश यादव ने झांसी में पुष्पेंद्र मुठभेड़ कांड को लेकर कहा कि पहले बीजेपी के मंत्रियों ने कहा कि वह बालू खनन माफिया है। अब सुनने में आ रहा है कि अब सरकार के मंत्री कुछ बोलने से बच रहे हैं। क्योंकि सबको पता है कि हत्या हुई है। उन्हें लगता है कि पुष्पेंद्र को न्याय मिल जाएगा तो लोगों का पुलिस पर से विश्वास उठ जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा की सरकार जो ठोंको की नीति पर चल रही है। आज शासन-प्राशसन के माध्यम से हत्याएं करवाई जा रही हैं। आज तक को ऐसा कौन सा अपराधी था जो सबसे ऊंची कुर्सी पर बैठ गया। कोई ऐसा मुख्यमंत्री बैठा है जो अपना मुकदमा वापस ले ले।
