लखनऊ । राजधानी लखनऊ में विश्व हिंदू महासभा के अंतरराष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष रणजीत बच्चन की रविवार सुबह गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। वह मौसेरे भाई आदित्य और पत्नी कालिंदी के साथ मार्निंग वॉक पर निकले थे। हमलावर अकेले बाइक से आया था। परिवर्तन चौराहे से थोड़ी दूर ग्लोब पार्क के पास बदमाश ने रणजीत को रोक लिया। हमलावर ने असलहा तानकर रणजीत और आदित्य का मोबाइल फोन लूट लिया। इसके बाद ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग कर दी।
हमले में रणजीत की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। वहीं आदित्य के हाथ में एक गोली लगी है। रणजीत ने दो शादियां की है, जिसमें वर्तमान में दो पत्नियां कालिंदी निर्मल शर्मा और निर्मला श्रीवास्तव उनके साथ रहती हैं। हजरतगंज कोतवाली और पोस्टमॉर्टम हाउस पर पत्नी कालिंदी ने जमकर हंगामा किया और मुख्यमंत्री को बुलाने की मांग को लेकर अड़ गईं।
रणजीत के समर्थकों ने पुलिस प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की। वे भी सीएम को बुलाने की मांग करने लगे। पुलिस ने देर शाम परिवारजन और समर्थकों को शांत कराया। कड़ी सुरक्षा में शव पोस्टमॉर्टम हाउस से उनके आवास ओसीआर बिल्डिंग ले जाया गया। इसके बाद अंतिम संस्कार के लिए देरशाम शव को बैकुंठ धाम ले जाया गया। हत्या से नाराज रणजीत की पत्नी ने पुलिस पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए। कहा कि वारदात के बाद से पुलिस उन्हें इधर-उधर घुमाती रही
