चुनावी दौर है और जगह जगह चेकिंग चल रही है कि इसी बीच नोटों का एक ऐसा जखीरा मिला जिसने प्रशासन के ही हाथ पांव फुला दिए ! सूचना मिली कि सड़क किनारे करोडों के नोट पड़े हैं जो एक छोटा हाथी में भरकर जा रहे थे ! सूचना पर प्रशासनिक अमला हरकत में आया और जब मौके पर पहुंचा तो देखकर सबके हाथ पांव फूल गए और मुंह खुला का खुला रह गया ! छोटा हाथी में करीब 7 करोड रुपये थे ! जो कहीं लेकर जाए जा रहे थे ! हादसे के बाद लोग तो ऐसे बावले हुए कि जो लोग प्रभावित हुए उनका हाल कोई नहीं पूछ रहा था !
जिसे देखो वो बस रुपयों को देख रहा था और काना फूसी करने में लगा था ! सवाल हर किसी का एक ही था कि आखिर ये पैसा आया कहां से और पैसा लेकर ये छोटा हाथी जा कहां रहा था ! इसके पीछे का किस्सा जब आपको पता चलेगा तो आप भी हक्के बक्के रह जाएंगे ! जानकारी की माने तो ये कैश आंध्र प्रदेश में वरामद हुआ है ! और ये मामला राज्य के पूर्वी गोदावरी (Godavari) जिले का है ! जहां एक गाड़ी में सात गत्ते की पेटियों में सात करोड़ रुपये छिपाकर ले जाए जा रहे थे ! और तभी कैश ले जा रही इस गाड़ी को एक लॉरी ने टक्कर मार दी, गाड़ी पलट गई और सारा भेद खुल गया ! रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, कैश की इन पेटियों को बोरे में भरकर रखा गया था ! पूरा कैश सामान ढोने वाली गाड़ी में ले जाया जा रहा था ! जिसे बोलचाल की भाषा में छोटा हाथी कहा जाता है !
गाड़ी पलटने के चलते बोरे खुल गए और पेटियां बिखर गईं ! हादसे के बाद पहुंचे स्थानीय लोगों की नजर कैश की पेटियों पर पड़ी ! और उन्होंने पुलिस को इसकी खबर दे दी ! जब्त की गई रकम सात करोड़ बताई जा रही है ! ये गाड़ी विजयवाड़ा से विशाखापटनम(Visakhapatnam) की ओर जा रही थी ! तभी हादसे का शिकार हो गई ! हादसे में छोटा हाथी के चालक को चोटें भी आई हैं ! उसे इलाज के लिए गोपालपुरम अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है ! इससे पहले 10 मई को भी आंध्र प्रदेश के एनटीआर जिले में पुलिस को बड़ी कामयाबी मिली थी ! यहां चेकिंग के दौरान पाइप से लदे हुए ट्रक से करीब 8 करोड़ रुपये बरामद हुए थे ! पुलिस ने पैसों को जब्त करने के साथ-साथ उसमें सवार दो लोगों को भी हिरासत में ले लिया है ! आंध्र प्रदेश(Andhra Pradesh) पुलिस के मुताबिक, एनटीआर जिले के गरिकापाडु चेक पोस्ट पर चेकिंग के दौरान ये नकदी पकड़ी गई !
