फिरोजाबाद। श्रीमती महादेवी महाविद्यालय, शिकोहाबाद, मैनपुरी रोड, भारौल, फिरोजाबाद में शनिवार को ‘द ग्लोबल क्लाइमेट चेंज’ विषय पर एक दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। सेमिनार का शुभारंभ डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय, आगरा की माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर डॉ. आशु रानी जी ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया।
इस अवसर पर, महाविद्यालय के सचिव डॉक्टर सुनील यादव ने मुख्य अतिथि प्रोफेसर डॉ. आशु रानी का बुके भेंट कर एवं स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान कर गर्मजोशी से स्वागत और सम्मान किया।
अपने मुख्य उद्बोधन में, कुलपति डॉ. आशु रानी ने जलवायु परिवर्तन की वैश्विक चुनौती पर गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि आज प्रत्येक नागरिक, विशेषकर छात्राओं और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को यह समझने की आवश्यकता है कि वे इस महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर जगह-जगह प्रचार-प्रसार कर समाज में जागरूकता फैलाएँ। उन्होंने ज़ोर दिया कि जलवायु परिवर्तन के ख़तरों को कम करने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयास अनिवार्य हैं।
