खेत में आ रहे करंट से किसान की मौत

मैनपुरी: फसल की देखवाल के लिए खेत मे लगाई गई तार की बाड़ में दौड़ रहे करंट की चपेट में आकर एक किसान की मौत हो गई। आक्रोशित लोगों ने प्रदर्शन करते हुए जाम लगाया। मृत किसान के परिजन घटना के लिए जिम्मेदार के खिलाफ कार्रवाई और पीड़ित परिवार को 50 लाख रुपये मुआवजा की मांग कर रहे थे। एसडीएम के समझाने पर लोगों का गुस्सा शांत हुआ।

मामला थाना करहल के गांव धोवई का है। किसान महावीर के खेत में मक्का की फसल खड़ी है। किसान ने खेत के चारों तरफ लोहे के तार की बाड़ लगा दी थी। इसके बावजूद भी जानवर खेत में घुसकर फसल बर्बाद कर देते थे। इसलिए महावीर ने तारों में करंट को प्रवाहित कर दिया था। रविवार सुबह गांव के ही किसान श्यामवीर सिंह शाक्य (27) शौच के लिए खेत की ओर जा रहे थे। तभी तारों में आ रहे करंट की चपेट में आने से उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। इसी बीच किसान महावीर भी मौके पर पहुंच गया। पुलिस से बचने के लिए उसने श्यामवीर का शव पास के ही बाजरा के खेत में डाल दिया।

घटना की जानकारी होते ही गांव के तमाम लोग घटनास्थल पर पहंचे। आक्रोशित लोगों ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया। वहीं तारों में करंट प्रवाहित करने का आरोपित महावीर मौके से फरार हो गया। गुस्साए लोगों ने करहल रोड पर जाम लगा दिया। करहल के एसडीएम रतन वर्मा पुलिस के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस ने शव को अपने कब्जे में लेने की कोशिश की, लेकिन परिजनों ने नहीं उठाने दिया। गांव के लोग आरोपितों के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज करने व पीड़ित परिवार को 50 लाख रुपया मुआवजा दिलाने की मांग की। एसडीएम ने कड़ी कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया तो लोगों का गुस्सा शांत हुआ। रिपोर्ट आरोपित महावीर व उसके पुत्र सिटू और राहुल के खिलाफ दर्ज कराई गई है।

ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि मृतक की आर्थिक स्थिति काफी खराब है। परिवार में वृद्ध माता-पिता, पत्नी व दो नाबालिग बेटियां हैं। इनके सामने भरण पोषण का संकट खड़ा हो गया है।
