बिजली की बढ़ी हुई कीमतों और किसानों की समस्याओं के निस्तारण के लिए प्रदेषव्यापी आंदोलन की तैयारी की जा रही है। 20 सितंबर को भाकियू के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता राकेष टिकैत मैनपुरी से आंदोलन को हुंकार भरेंगे।
सोमवार दोपहर कलक्ट्रेट पहुंचे भारतीय किसान यूनियन के जिलाध्यक्ष तिलक सिंह राजपूत ने बताया कि सरकार अपनी मनमानी कर रही है। पहले ही गांवों में विद्युत आपूर्ति ठप चल रही है। किसानों को समय पर पानी नहीं मिल रहा है जिससे फसलें सूख रही हैं। ऐसे में बिजली की कीमतों में इजाफा करना सरासर गलत है।
आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि बिजली विभाग द्वारा मनमाने बिल भेजकर किसानों के नाम से नोटिस जारी किए गए जा रहे है। वसूली के लिए घरों में राजस्व विभाग की टीम को भेजकर दबाव बनाया जाता है। लेखपालों द्वारा भी पैमाइष की आड़ में मनमानी की जाती है। किसानों ने कलक्ट्रेट परिसर में विरोध जताते हुए कहा कि अब पूरे प्रदेष में बड़े आंदोलन की तैयारी कर ली गई है। 20 सितंबर को मैनपुरी में भाकियू के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता राकेष टिकैत किसान आंदोलन का आगाज करेंगे। जिसमें जिले भर से सैकडों किसान अपनी आवाज बुलंद करेंगे। यहीं से पूरे प्रदेष में आंदोलन को आह्वान भी किया जाएगा।

मैनपुरी बार एसोसिएषन के अध्यक्ष सौरभ यादव एडवोकेट ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया है कि 20 सितंबर को भाकियू की महापंचायत में सरकार की जनविरोधी नीतियों के विरोध में बार एसोसिएषन भी अपना समर्थन देता है। हमारे अधिवक्ता किसानों की मांगों के साथ अपनी आवाज बुलंद कर हक की लडाई लडेंगे।
