पश्चिमी यूपी में बसपा का 26 साल पुराना स्तंभ आज ढह गया। जिस नेता पर कभी बसपा चीफ मायावती ने खूब भरोसा किया और जिसके कंधों पर पश्चिम मे बसपा को फायदा भी मिला वो अब हाथी का साथ छोडकर जा चुका है। जिसने भी ये खबर आज सुनी वो सन्न रह गया क्यों कि ये नेता न तो दलबदलू था और नही मौका देखकर साथ छोडने वाला। दबी जुबान में लोग कह रहे कि मायावती की नीतियों ने भी बसपा के इस कददावर को पाटी छोडकर जाने के लिए विवश कर दिया है।
जयंत चौधरी ने भी मौके का फायदा उठाते हुए तुंरत इस नेता को आरएलडी में शामिल करा लिया है और लोकसभाचुनाव को लकर अहम जिम्मेदारी भी सोंप दी है। ये नेता कौन हैं और क्यों पश्चिमी यूपी में इनके आने से सपा और आरएलडी गठबंधन को फायदा होना तय है!
ढाई दशक से अधिक समय से बसपा के साथ रहे पूर्व मेरठ-सहारनपुर कोऑर्डिनेटर जिया उर रहमान ने पार्टी को अलविदा कह दिया। जिया उर रहमान आरएलडी की सदस्यता ग्रहण कर ली है। मुजफ्फरनगर में पुराने राजनीतिक परिवार से संबंध रखने वाले जिया उर रहमान भट्टे वाले पिछले 26 साल से बसपा में सक्रिय थे। उनके पिता अजीज उर रहमान भट्टे वाले भी कांग्रेस पार्टी में काफी दिनों तक सक्रिय रहे। जिया उर रहमान ने राजनीति में कदम रखा तो उन्हें बहुजन की पैरोकार कही जाने वाली बसपा में काफी सम्मान मिला। करीब 26 साल तक पार्टी में रहे जिया उर रहमान मेरठ-सहारनपुर जिलों के कोऑर्डिनेटर रहे। सहारनपुर मंडल अध्यक्ष भी रहे।
जिया उर रहमान ने बसपा के टिकट पर मुजफ्फरनगर पालिका से अध्यक्ष पद का चुनाव भी लड़ा। उनकी पत्नी को भी बसपा ने एक बार मैदान में उतारा था। जिया उर रहमान पिछले कुछ माह से पार्टी में अपने आप को उपेक्षित महसूस कर रहे थे।
कुछ वक्त पहले ही उन्होंने आरएलडी अध्यक्ष जयंत चौधरी से दिल्ली में मुलाकात की थी। इसके बाद से यह चर्चा आम हो गई थी कि जिया उर रहमान बसपा को अलविदा कह सकते हैं। मंगलवार को उन्होंने पार्टी को अलविदा कहने की घोषणा करते हुए दिल्ली के लिए कूच किया। बताया कि वह आरएलडी अध्यक्ष जयंत चौधरी से मिलने के लिए दिल्ली जा रहे हैं और पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण करेंगे।
